    Producers' space

A festival is a volume you know in advance

An order agreed weeks before the event, delivered over two or three days, paid by a single contact. For a farm, that is a share of production secured in peak season — and a shop window in front of thousands of people.

    Expectations

What a festival is looking for

Organisers are not chasing the lowest price: they need an order that holds on the day. These five points come up in every conversation.

    Volumes announced up front

Capacity is known weeks ahead. Quantities are set early and move little, so you can plan your harvest around them.

    Delivery over a few days

Everything arrives within two or three days, often at the same unloading point. Say clearly what you can deliver, and on what terms.

    Seasonal produce

The menu is built around what is available on the event date. Your growing calendar drives the kitchen.

    Organic where it exists

Certification is not mandatory, but it is requested in public tenders and specifications. Mention it if you hold it.

    A contact who answers

A number that picks up in the week before the event is worth more than a full catalogue.
